A ceremony was held March 26, 2024, to celebrate 10 Durham residents who completed the BRIDGE program - Building, Reinventing, Improving, for Developing Great Employees and Entrepreneurs. BRIDGE is a unique partnership between Hayti Reborn – Justice Movement (HR-JM) and Durham Technical Community College.
The 2024 honorees were members of BRIDGE cohort 3. Classes ran January 2024 through March 2024. BRIDGE curriculum totals 90+ hours (6-7 weeks) of instruction and enrichment classes provided by Durham Tech. The syllabus includes a PIVOT Assessment, Working Smart, Tech Awareness and Communicating with Purpose.
