The Hayti Reborn – Justice Movement is the recipient of the Community Organization of the Year award given by Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce (GBDCC). The honor was formally commemorated and presented at the GDBCC’s 2024 Black Business Gala, February 17, at the Durham Armory. GDBCC’s Black Business Gala spotlights and honors notable individuals and businesses, recognizing their significant contributions to business achievements in Durham. In addition to HR-JM 2024, 2024 honorees were: Black Business Gala Woman of the Year, Phyllis Coley; Man of the Year, Dr. Jeffrey Scales; and 2024 Emerging Business of the Year, Marsh's Rentals.
